Weave as it Will

Alright! So, for the rest of this month, we are gonna be doing some hardcore “member getting”! This means advertising (on forums that will allow it), affiliating (my job and Mike’s job), and, in some cases, personally contacting/PMing. You know we all do it. Plain and simple. We’re all a part of this. Staff members can’t do all of it alone, so we definitely need your help on this. Let’s see how many members we can get in the month of May! Make it a personal goal! (We may offer prizes.)

Hey Weave Members! I have some news for you guys this week. A while back, I posted a thread for a Video Contest (click for details). It is still in progress, and we encourage members to participate! We need at least three submissions for the contest to go through, and we currently have no entries.

The point of this contest is to create a video advertisement, or trailer, for Weave as It Will. There are many ways you could go about creating one. You could create a video around your character, a specific group, or the whole RP. It could be a slideshow/story video, a music video, or a moving picture video. It’s up to you and your creativity!

In addition, we would also like to hear your thoughts on the types of prizes you would like to see given out here on Weave. We are creating a list of considerations, and we need your help! PM your ideas to Holly, and she’ll add them in some form to the list, if the prize can be given. Thanks for your help!

Hi everyone, and welcome to the new Weave as it Will site and forums!

If you’re new to the site, have a look around! Things are still getting added to this new site – but there is already lots to see.

For those switching over from ProBoards – I hope you like what we’ve done. This site has been long in the making, and there is still much to be done. We’re counting on help from each of you to get this place moving. Please pass on any comments, suggestions, questions or criticisms you have about the site and we will try to help as best we can.

I plan to work hard on getting this site finished and getting back to work on my characters, and I hope you all do the same. At this stage I think we can also welcome back my partner, Brenton, who writes Illinde Acwai Sedai and King Enlan Atarion of Cairhien. Let’s try to get everyone back into posting, and bringing new members to the site.

We’re very excited about this new beginning, and we hope you all are as well. Looking forward to seeing you all on the forums! Watch this space for Weave News, information on contests, and more ranting by site admins. =)
